The Open Music Lab empowers people to make their own music with the vision of building a more equitable music scene.
The Open Music Lab is a welcoming and inclusive space for people to explore electronic music. From music production and DJing to specialized sessions on mixing, mastering, songwriting, podcasting, or radio, there is something for everyone.
This community is dedicated to inclusivity and diversity, actively supporting refugees, asylum seekers, women, non-binary and LGBTQI+ individuals, people of color, and those with disabilities. We want to create a space where anyone can learn how to create, record, and share.
With guidance from experienced mentors from Berlin’s electronic music scene, participants have the opportunity to learn, connect, and create without financial barriers. Whether interested in beginner courses or more advanced workshops, the Open Music Lab serves as an ideal place for anyone to start or continue their musical journey.
