Hejmo offers free youth activities in Neukölln for teenagers aged 12–18. Every week, young people come together to study, make music, cook, create things with their hands, and spend time together after school.
Our youth programs give teenagers a place to meet others, build friendships, and feel part of a supportive community in Berlin.
All activities are free and led by experienced project managers together with trained volunteers.
Club der Sterne is a space where girls come together to spend time with each other, learn new skills, and support one another.
Some afternoons are dedicated to studying together before exams. Other days are more creative - making jewelry, crafting glittery roses, cooking together, or dancing to everything from Somali music to Billie Eilish.
Food is always part of the gathering: first dinner, then dessert. Recently, Dubai chocolate has been reigning supreme.
The group also explores Berlin together - visiting the cinema, trying ceramics, having picnics in the park, or going ice skating.
Over time, the girls build strong friendships, celebrate birthdays together, and support each other through school and everyday challenges.
When: Fridays, 16:00–19:00
Where: Hejmo Project Space, Lenaustraße 3, 12047 Berlin (Neukölln)

At Klanghaus, music is the starting point for bringing people together. Participants learn guitar, piano, percussion, and singing — and experiment with electronic music production. The group creates music videos, plays board games, watches films, and spends time together in a relaxed environment.
There is also space for homework support and practical help, such as searching for internships, preparing for a first job, or navigating paperwork. And of course, no one leaves hungry. Joe, the project manager, is known for making excellent pizza - alongside nuggets and fries when the group feels like it.
Just like in Club der Sterne, the most important part of Klanghaus is the community that grows over time, built on trust, laughter, and mutual support.
When: Wednesdays, 15:30–18:30
Where: Blue House

Our youth activities are led by experienced project managers and supported by volunteers who regularly participate in trainings on:
trauma awareness
mental health first aid
supporting young people with migration or refugee experience
This helps ensure that teenagers feel respected, supported, and comfortable during the activities.
Parents or teenagers can simply send an email to the project manager to register. For Club der Sterne it’s Tonia (antonina@hejmoberlin.org) or via WhatsApp (http://wa.me/491625866270) and for Klanghaus it’s Joe (joe@hejmoberlin.org).
Our programs are open to teenagers aged 12–18.
