We run two activities specifically for youth (12-18 years old) - one for girls, Club der Sterne, and one for boys, Klanghaus. In the very heart of Neukölln we meet once a week to learn from one another and to laugh together. The idea is simple: we create a space where teenagers can spend time, meet others, study together, make music, or create things with their hands. Sometimes, we even go out and do fun activities together. And everything is of course completely free!

Club der Sterne is a community of girls who come together primarily to spend time with each other. Sometimes we spend this time focused studying math, other times making jewelry and glittery roses, and sometimes dancing to Somali music and Billie Eilish. We also often cook together, of course, first comes dinner, then dessert. Recently, Dubai chocolate has been reigning supreme! Beyond our Project Space, which we try to make a cozy and safer place, we also go outside together. Sometimes this means broadening our horizons at the cinema, making mugs in a ceramics studio, playing cards at a picnic, or going ice skating.
It takes place every Friday from 16:00 to 19:00 in our Project Space (Lenaustraße, 3, 12047 Berlin).
Our goal is to create a community where we not only have fun and learn, developing various skills, but also build deeper relationships with one another. Thanks to this, our project is not just an after-school center or a youth club with extracurricular activities, but a true community of girls who care for each other, celebrate birthdays, support one another before difficult exams, and simply are there for one another. Tonia, the project manager, makes sure that every girl feels part of the group and receives a great book for her birthday! :)

Meetings take place in our new space, the Blue House (Donaustr. 15, 12043 Berlin) every Wednesday from 15:30 to 18:30.
Our managers and volunteers are experienced professionals with big hearts. As a team, we have participated in a wide range of workshops on creating safer spaces, being queer-friendly, first aid, mental health first aid, and trauma awareness. Our volunteers also take part in monthly workshops where they learn nonviolent communication, how to be attentive to participants’ needs, how to regulate emotions in a healthy way and many others.
If you have teenage children, know someone who might enjoy these spaces, or are a teenager yourself and this resonates with you - we’d love to hear from you. You can sign up just by sending an email:

Thanks to the support of the Berliner Klassenlotterie, Aktion Mensch, Goldman Sachs Gives, and Buddy Bears, we were able to expand our youth offerings this year.
